Bill's got it right... lots of knobs. Isn't that what it is all about?
Has anybody else counted the number of knobs on their sets? I think my
R-390A has the most at my place. But the SX-28 is my favorite receiver
with the best sound by far.

The SX-111, HT-37 combo for me. The 111 receives as well as my 756pro.
Anything it can hear the 111 can hear and it has a product detector.
But
the most important thing about it, is it is big, heavy and has lots of
knobs. After isn't that what we want in a boat anchor?
