[Hallicrafters] S-53A Questions

I am currently getting a Hallicrafters S-53A receiver serial number
180121 working again and have a few questions that I hope some on the
list can help me with.

 

The S-53A manual for download on the bama site has pages 7 & 8 missing.
Could someone scan and send copies to me.

 

The schematic diagram from the bama site is labeled "Models S-53A &
S-53AU Run 2", are there other schematics for the S-53A for "Run 1" or
other mods?

 

I have noted two differences in this radio from the schematic so far for
which I am wondering about.

 

The first is that C50 (.01 MFD) is not present which goes between R25 &
R27 to the Noise Limiter switch SW3.  I can find no evidence of it being
removed, so am wondering if it may never have been installed or that
there was a change introduced at some point.

 

The second is that the antenna ground point, G, does not go to chassis
ground but has a .02 MFD capacitor to pin 2 of V1 the 6BA6 mixer.  The
schematic shows both going directly to chassis ground.
