Sigh. I see 'em come and I see 'em go on you-know-where, those sx-42's I 
can't afford.  Even sawr one oncet up CLOSE and personal, in the semi-darkness
of a basement shack, the green glow making it look like an alien 
communications 
device if I ever sawr one. Talk about *coolness*....

So if'n I can't afford one of these (erm, functional and aligned already), 
what's the next-best Hallicrafters? I mean, besides the one you just spent 3 
months refurbishing.

Really. So I can start saving Now and who knows maybe they'll be available 
at rational prices sometime.

No one explained, however, whether or not fieldmice have anything to do with 
it.
