I concur. As previously mentioned, there is a list especially for the Bay Of E.
where ads, announcements and gripes can be posted.

Anyone with a small amount of courtesy and common sense would not think 
of posting a link to a site that charges a fee to sell things when this 
reflector does not.
Then , when you get burned by buying something on the site and paying 
for the privilege of using that site, posting a gripe on this reflector 
and letting everyone know how foolish you were to use that site in the 
first place.
I guess it is like amateur radio in general, Part 97 does not cover 
exactly every aspect of operation, you should just follow "good amateur 
practice".
First you need some "good amateurs" to follow "good amateur practice"
Now can we get back to hallicrafters?
