[Hallicrafters] OA2 and OB2 regulator tubes

Never mind ham jargon, tubes that are so called "interchangeable", means
they will function satisfactorily without circuit modification or changes in
operating parameters.
The OB2 regulates at 108 volts and the 0A2 regulates at 150 volts. 0A2 max
supply voltage is 185 while the 0B2 is 133.
There are small differences in the min/max regulated voltage (1 volt) but
other than that they are not interchangeable.

Seems to me, in ham radio jargon, if tubes are considered
"interchangeable",
it means one will work in place of the other.
