I use this source: http://www.justradios.com/

Since I am rebuilding so many radios, I was tired of saying I need one of
these, three of those etc.

Go into the capacitor section. He sells capacitor kits with all the
commonly known values including electrolytics focused on tube radio
restorers.

I finally broke down and bought two kits slightly different from each other.
While somewhat expensive, it was much easier for me to have the kits and
loads of common values and voltages handy, right on the bench when needed.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] HT37-need some capacitors

I have identified and located the five "Black Beauty" capacitors I need to
replace in my HT37.

Trying to buy a few caps that value a total of less than $2.00 from some of
the vendors on-line is impossible...minimum orders and ridiculous shipping
charges...I just spent an hour on the Internet checking.

Can some kind soul out there sell me the following caps:

.1mfd @200vdc or more 4 each

.2mfd @200vdc or more 1 each

The new metallized film capacitors can be used as replacements if anyone has

those on hand. Not sure if you can get disc ceramics in those
values/voltages.

Hope someone can help me out on this one.

                                    73, Joe W2KJ
