Good news Joe. I too hope to work you 37-37. BTW, a good crystal mic will
do wonders for the audio on this fabulous phasing rig. As to carrier
suppression, I just use my Kenwood SM-220 monitor scope for minimal
suppression. Works just fine.

If it hasn't been mentioned already, I recall using the S-meter in my Drake
2-B rather than the HT-37 meter when nulling carrier. It's been 45 years or
so but I think putting the '37 in MOX and receiving on my un-muted '2B did
the trick. Might have been a more sensitive setup than pulling the "meter
sensitivity" control on the '37. Time fades memory however, so I may not be
recalling things quite correctly.
Good luck with the setup. Wish I still had mine.
