As Duane points out, go to the Hallicrafters page, http://www.w9wze.org/ 
Go to the bottom of the page; click on "Search QTH.net lists; Select
Hallicrafters from the manufacturer choices;
Type SX-28 as the search criteria. Click Go and sit back.
It will pull up every SX-28 thread from "now" back to April 1998. Click
on the threads of interest.
It's a very useful tool for "all" of us. It saves asking the same
questions over and over and over, etc.
