Craig,

It's not at all obvious, but you are located in an ANTI-Vortex. You know
about the "energy vortexes" located around Sedona, Arizona. New age people
sensitive to the energy flows in the universe flock there to get cured and
such..

The rule of opposite action and reaction may still hold true (despite the
Cross Field Antenna folks claiming something to the contrary) and you are
unfortunate enough to be located in an anti-vortex. The bad energy is
cracking your tubes.

Now, rest assured, I am going to help you out.

Simply transport that newly aligned an cabineted R-388 over to my place..
(it's only a 30 minute drive, after all) and I'll keep it in safety for
you. We can put it on top of the 75A-4 here and it will feel at home. You
can come listen to it most any time. I'll replace any more tubes that
succumb to the ill effects of being in the anti-vortex which has so
unfortunately settled upon your place.

Looking forward to giving the R-388 a safe place,

Roy
