[Hallicrafters] Re Gas Explosion In Flint, Net Questionable

At 6:45 AM EDT a natural gas main 1.5 miles NW of my QTH exploded. The location
is Carpenter and Jackson Roads. All of Genesee Township (where I am located and
so is the event), and Genesee County, are under emergency operation procedures.
All emergency services have been activated and are operational.	
	
The wind is only 2 mph out of the southwest and is not dissipating the natural
gas that is roaring into the air creating a very dangerous potential explosion
condition. Residents are being evacuated and the area has been blocked off by
all available emergency vehicles. Additional fire crews are being brought into
Genesee County via Mutual Aid to man fire stations not currently manned by their
normal staff.	
	
Because I am so close to the proximity of the ruptured natural gas main, I may
not be on the air! If the wind shifts, or the huge cloud of natural gas that has
been spewing into the atmosphere for over four hours moves to the south or
southeast, we will also be evacuated. They have the entire county on emergency
standby.	
	
There is also the possibility of electrical power being shutdown as emergency
crews try to contain the damage, rescue people and restore service.	
	
If I am not on the air, I would appreciate K0EJF, Jerry Forwood or KG4KZG, Dale
Rubin taking the NCS duties, or dividing them. In the event niether are
available, I am confident one of you will step up and do what needs to be done.
