[Hallicrafters] HELP! Any Ole' Radiomen in Denver?

Hi Group,

I'm seeking a qualified "old-time" radioman located in the Denver-Metro area that could assist me with a problem regarding my SX-42.  I have "restored" several Hallicrafters receivers with good success; however, my electrical knowledge is limited.  My strengths have been with the cosmetic aspect of restoration.

My SX-42 is near perfect after nearly 4 months of work.  But, now the s-meter is acting strangely and after checking all the bases I know, the problem still remains.  The average tech will not do, I would prefer the help of a savvy Ham or a veteran electronic tech familiar with radios of this vintage.  A qualified individual with my same interests in early communications gear is desired.   
Of course, I expect no hand-out and I'm very willing to compensate someone for their expertise.
