Boy! It sure is. I've had a couple of BC-610s in my ham career, 
and it is one of my favorite transmitters. I've had an "E" and an 
"I" (NIB). I used the "E", which I had gotten through AFMARS 
as a linear amp for Vietnam phone patching, with a 304TL 
replacing the 250TH, which I had broken by dropping it.

One of the most reliable transmitters I've ever used.

A real honey, and easy to work on.
