Greetings and salutations,

This is Gary, K7EK, in Spanaway, WA. I have a Hallicrafters HT-32 Mk I
transmitter that I'd
like to restore to operation. When first powered up, the transmitter
puts out full power. Within
4-5 minutes, power drops to barely a needle-width on the Bird 43
wattmeter. I have had the
cover off and could not find anything obvious. I tested all of the
tubes and replaced one or
two that were on the weak side. No matter what I do, I am unable to
maintain full power
output.

I am told that this series of transmitters is notorious for loss of
power output. Perhaps you
know of some specific solutions that I might apply, in order to save
some time. I would be
very grateful for any constructive suggestions, or at least a starting
point. I just got a
SX-101 receiver recently and wish to put the pair on the air soonest.

Thanks in advance for your help.

73,

Gary, K7EK
