[Hallicrafters] HT37 removial of Sideband Generator sub-assembly module

Well, I am about the replace the Black Beauty caps in the HT37 Sideband 
Generator and decided to remove the module to make it easier to work on.

I took off the knobs required along with the RF OUTPUT meter but the module 
can't get past the power transformer to allow the control shafts on the 
module to clear the front panel holes.

Must the power transformer be removed before this module can be removed?

There's gotta be an easier way:-)
