[Hallicrafters] Tuner Cleaner (Radio ShacK)

I used an old can of Radio Shack spray tuner cleaner on an S-108. Sprayed 
volume and sensitivity controls, main and bandspread capacitors as well as 
the bandswitch wafers ( I know now very, very dumb idea), now they all have 
a nice moist sheen on them that is still present 2 days after spraying. I do 
not want to plug the unit in or turn on for rear of shorting out anything 
now. Any ideas on how get rid of that crap and recommendations on what is 
safe to use on tube type equipment.
Still kicking myself and hoping I haven't wrecked a good rig.
