This is for those of you who have ordered a certified copy of the Halligan video
and two CD set of original live audio recordings. Plus an additional 92 original
text documents, original transcripts with hand written margin notes, exclusive
personal photos of Bill Halligan and wife Katie, many other photos of original
ads for the Skyrider series, (including the first ad Bill Halligan ran in
1933!), extensive documentation on the 1947-1948 Hallicrafter-Gatti DXpedition
to the "Mountains Of The Moon" of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Vatican City radio
station, and much more.

The company producing the digital video has informed me that they have
encountered problems with the formats used for digital video and photos (text,
documents and photos are all .tif) being incompatible.

This means: some of you will want to play the DVD on a stand alone unit. These
are far more sensitive than the drives used on computers. The issue is the
reflectivity of the disk. A certain amount of light must be reflected back from
the surface of the disk in order for the stand alone player or computer drive to
'see' it. The way in which the digital video is created for stand alone players
is different than for the more liberal computer drives. (The video quality is
also superior on stand alone units.) hence, it does not appear to be doable on
the same DVD for both types of players.

I have given them one week to resolve the issue or to refund the money.

Because I am of the opinion it may not be soluble in a reasonable amount of
time, if at all, I have already purchased the special DVD disks and other
materials to generate them myself. I have already generated three final test
sets. So far, perfect!

If they are unable to resolve it, I will produce the two types of DVD here
myself. I have the technology to do it. (It will not look as fancy as the
professionals do, but it will still be of professional quality video and audio
wise!) I will also put the data on a CD and include it with the DVD. Then those
with a stand alone unit can watch the video and use the CD in their computer.
Those with a computer can watch the video and use the data on the CD also.

Here is what I need to know:

How many of you plan to play the digital video on a stand alone player separate
from a computer?

Please send your reply direct to me gentlemen. Thank you very much!
