Hey Gang,

You're too late... digital radios have been legal for hams for YEARS... ever
hear of CW, RTTY & Packet?  Also, check out the new catalogs for YAESU,
ICOM, & KENWOOD digital 2m & 70cm xnsvrs.

I recall the ill-fated attempt at "AM Stereo" some years back.  Now with
SatRadio, it's an achievable technology, as one can stuff a lot more data
into the same span of spectra, so I guess it's inevitable.  Heck, they said
UHF television would never catch on, as one needed a "convertor"... remember
that?

 "hear" should be "here",.. (boy, that came out pretty cryptic, eh?)
