Hey Ferd'

One of the easy fixes I have for such things, involves the main-tuning
variable (and bandspread variable, for that matter).  I use a drop of my
"Unobtanium" CRAMOLIN on the junctions (rotor bearings) of the sections - on
the "brushes".  You'd be amazed how it takes care of such a problem.  Of
course, you can no longer buy the stuff, so try a drop of DeOxit at those
junctions.  (spray it in a cup, then dip it out with a sharp pencil tip).
It's hardly a cure-all, but will take care of certain poor-contact problems
with sensitivity.  Yeah, I'm a sensitivity kind of guy.
