[Hallicrafters] SX28 sensitivity

Ok Gents, here is the problem. I recapped my SX28 sometime ago and it worked
beautifully. Lately it has been loosing sensitivity especially in the higher
bands. Also, when I move the antenna trimmer there is an electrical
scratching sound as if it were in bad shape and the plates were touching
(they are not). I could have missed some paper caps but only if they reside
inside the IF cans. I will signal trace the rig but will appreciate
suggestions from the combined wisdom of the group.
