[Hallicrafters] Voltage Calibration with 1000 ohm/volt vs 20000ohm/volt meters ?

Your voltage readings will be higher since the higher input resistance will
not load down the supply voltages (circuit) as much as the 1k unit. What
the difference will be is anybodies guess but it will most certainly be
higher than it is supposed to be using the Simpson 260, (my favorite btw).

Hi All

I want to calibrate my TV7-U tester and want to know
how much of a differance in voltage reading would I
get using a 1000 ohm/volt mster (called for and dont
have) vs a simson 260 @ 20000 ohm/volt meter. I have
seen this a lot with the older receivers also

Mike
