Surprisingly, after listing my receiver on most of the popular lists and
after two runs on auction sites, my SX-88 does not yet have a new owner.  So
now it's either FOR SALE or TRADE.  I acquired it in 1999.  It's in nice
condition and is a Run 2 with serial number 296. It looks like it's been
recapped but I didn't do a capacitors vs. manual count.  It has a
refurbished front panel done by N0ALO in 1999. The original warped bezel was
replaced in 2002 by a Hank Arney creation and the original warped bezel is
included. The receiver has excellent knobs and glass and comes with a
unobtainium extra band switch belt. Two IF cans on the left rear have signs
of epoxy repair, probably caused by sitting it on the wrong side when it was
out of the cabinet.  The cabinet has some scratches but does not have any
damage or dents and a pint job would be appropriate.  I'd also suggest a
3-wire power cable be added. The inside is clean but not polished. There is
some letter wear on the rear panel.  The receiver comes with a complete
manual and to the best of my knowledge is fully functional.  It's been used
less then 24 hours since I became the owner.  A Hank Arney shipping box is
standing by.  As far as a sale, trade or partial trade goes, let's talk.
