[Hallicrafters] B-42 Project Update and thank-yous.

Hi,
    A few weeks ago I mentioned a project to build a B-42 Tilt Base for 
the SX-42.  Chuck Dachis took time to dissemble his SX-42/B-42 display 
to take and send me nine excellent close-up photographs - thank you 
very much Chuck.  Bob Nickels (W9RAN) loaned me a base only (no 
adjustment screw) - thank you very much Bob also.  I have gotten 
together with a machinist friend and have purchased some channel iron 
and aluminum, made sketches and will build a prototype soon.  It will 
not be an exact duplication but will appear faithful, especially with a 
SX-42 sitting on top of the base.  I'll post pictures (somewhere) as 
soon as the prototype is finished.
