Al, is there any chance of scanning that mod for email? I can't find
that issue in my scattered collection of CQ magazines.   I'll be into my
HT-32B to install the Heyboer power transformer sometime this summer and
might want to add the ALC.  I plan to use the HT-32B and SX-115 pair a
lot more once the new iron is in the 32B and I've restuffed the can
filter caps in the 115.  Both work ok now, but I don't trust 'em for
daily usage without some premptive surgery.

Yes, I was mistaken.  My fault for moving all of my boatanchor docs out
to the outbuilding shack!  I do have a couple transceivers that use the
7360, the NCX-5 is one, I believe.  Either way, swapping out the
balanced mod tube and re-balancing could eliminate that stage as a
contributor to rough audio.
