Laurel asked Hardy whether he wanted to be buried or stuffed.

Some folks where I work travel to Europe for meetings. One fellow reported
getting very strange looks when, after a big lunch, he said, "Boy, am I
stuffed."

Meanings for "stuffed":
USA: Overfull of food
Europe: Just out of bed after a "romp"

"I move we table the motion""
USA: Put it on hold to talk about later.
Europe: Bring it up for discussion right now.

"I'll call about 2 pm."
USA: I'll phone you early afternoon
Britain: I'll show up at your office at 2 PM.

Quote from Henry Higgins, in My Fair Lady:
"English!
Why can't the British teach their children how to speak?
English!
Why in America, they haven't spoken it for YEARS!"
