[Hallicrafters] Don't Miss HCI Special Event On Easter Sunday!

There will be a Special Event on Sunday March 27th to commemorate the 1000th
consecutive HCI Net done by NCS Duane Fischer, W8DBF. All who participate will
be eligible for a colorful special commemorative certificate. All you need to do
is send a ready to use address label to the address for W9WZE as shown in
QRZ.COM  	
	
If you try to check in, but are not recognized by W9WZE, or any designated relay
station, send the report by e-mail to 'netcontrol at w9wze.org' and then mail the
label by regular mail.	
	
The Special Event will start earlier than normal at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC) and
continue until 3:00 PM EST, (2000 UTC). 	
	
The frequency will be 14.292 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
happy sounds of Easter. For those of you who celebrate Easter, have a fabulous
time with family and friends. If not, then have a fabulous weekend just the
same. 	
	
I will be assisted tomorrow by K0EJF, Jerry Forwood, near Denver, Colorado, as
well as several other relay stations throughout the USA. 	
	
We will be using the 'W9WZE' call tomorrow, the former call sign of William
Halligan, Sr., the founder of the Hallicrafters Company.	
	
We hope that many of you will be able to participate in this milestone for the
HCI Nets. So be there! None of those "I ate so many of those Cadbury eggs that
everytime I open my mouth I cackle!" Hear you tomorrow!
