Not so! I was duly Hallicrafters equipped today with the FPM-300, as
there was no awful line noise as occurred last Sunday, requiring the
abilities of the FT-1000mp and its digital processors and noise blanker.
I missed the call of the station who took my check in, so if he reads
this this thanks for the relay! Conditions seemed to improve as the net
progressed. Near the end I could hear W8DBF, but not copy well. The
5's and 6's were pretty loud.
73, keeping the filaments lit (not too many in the FPM-300 to glow).
