Joe,

First, a request. Please avoid the "..." and just use one. It causes those using
screen reading software difficulties. Thank you.

Second, Al Parker, W8UT has some excellent information and photos on his web
site about restoring the SX-28. I would strongly suggest that you pay his web
site a visit Joe. I do not have the URL handy, perhaps one of the others can
provide it? Or just look in the archives for one of his posts and you will find
the address in his footer area.

Speaking of the archives Joe, do a search for the SX-28. There have been
numerous posts over the past thirty months (normally how long mail volume for a
list is retained before a new post pushes out oldest post) covering quite a few
different topics.

You can do a search from the HCI web site Joe, the link is at the bottom of this
post in the footer:

Happy chasing those elusive parts!

Good evening, all members of the various reflectors, from Joe w5jdy in
Okla.... Well, like always,I need someones help.. I am working on an old
halli SX-28 that is in pitiful shape... Several parts have been robbed off
of it and I am attempting to acquire some of them back.. Right now,I would
like to purchase 4 vintage binding post for the 500 ohm and 5000 ohm audio
output connectors missing from the chassis rear.. Maybe someone has
something near the original?? Any 4 matching that will mount in the chassis
would be excellent.
After I get the power supply and the audio
section working OK I will see what else I need... Thanks for your
time...Please email me at
w5jdy at cox.net Joe
