This is off topic, but...

The 1990 movie "Pump Up the Volume" about a teenage
pirate-radio DJ features a Hewlett-Packard 608 as an
FM broadcast transmitter... even "mobile" at one point
as the "hero" is being pursued by the evil "Mr. Watts"
of the FCC.

The 1974 movie "The Sting" has the "FBI"
communicationg with "Headquarters" using a General
Radio signal generator as a CW transmitter-receiver
(check out the first scene in the warehouse where the
feds are holed up).

In the movie "Midway," check out the ARC-5 control
boxes in the Japanese aircraft....
