No, the DD-1 does not have a CRT and I think Doug's other remarks are 
accurate, too.  That having been said I have seen some very professional 
looking mods to such gear.  I have an SX-15, for example, that has had a 
front panel speaker added.  It was done cleanly enough that you need to 
look twice to recognize it as a mod.  I don't know if you could shoehorn 
a CRT into an S-20 but I'd be rather surprised if nobody has ever tried.

I'll keep an eye out for Zontar.  Hey, if he (it?) is from Venus why is 
he talking to Mars??  Guess I'll just have to watch and see if I can 
follow the plot.
