I haven't, but why would you want to? The SX-62 is a lovely rig for
BCB and Medium/shortwave listening - even FM band. Why try to make it
into something it isn't? Pick up another rig designed for SSB is my
advice. Or, if you want the full sound of the SX-62 on SSB, get the
SX-42 or older SX-28 series receivers. They aren't designed for SSB
either, but they do have a BFO as standard equipment. Look at it as an
excu....er....reason to get another cool radio. If you don't want
another, I'd suggest selling or trading the SX-62 in favor of the
other two rigs or something else.
