[Hallicrafters] (no subject)

 I have received an S-38B in the original shipping box from Allied Radio in Chicago. The radio is near mint with some rust. The Hallicrafters Logo on the front is all brass. No black or red  color inside the logo.  Does anybody know if this  was an original factory item?
