The List Manager, AKA the 'eval Troll under the bridge', second cousin of Eval
Kineval, Sr., only throws those who post messages about a certain 'electronic
auction' into his vat of boiling oil made from collecting discarded 'Black
Beauties', (No, single cell brain, not the horse Black Beauty, the historically
bad capacitor!), and then the residue to the military to defoliate jungle
vegetation. 	
	
Having so stated the policy rather broadly, like the distance across the rump of
a Rhinoceros, this warning is fine, provided it has some substance to it and is
not just runoff from a leaking landfill. A person's ethics, and more, has been
publicly called into a negative window of perception. Which can have serious
legal implications for such defamatory innuendoes should they prove to be false.
On the other hand, if valid, a worthy warning.		
	
Hence, gentlemen, be sure the information is valid, or include the proper 'keep
your rump out of the glowing charcoal briquettes' disclaimer, before you post
them. Sometimes trying to do the right thing, or a good deed, backfires and you
become the ogre. Let discretion be the better part of valor.	
	
And for those who have come to be known on this list in the underground jungles
of sigh-per-space as the "dirty half dozen", when you stagger out of that
primordial ethereal fog you subsist in, spare us your pathetic proclamations of
pettiness and just sink back into the soup.

I hope this doesn’t upset the list manager
. 
BUT guys n gals, this sure looks like one of those piranha’s that scour
the internet for people selling 
items then zaps them with those $3500 certified checks and asks you to
send the balance.  
The certified check is always counterfeit.  
Anyone else on the list get these responses?
I really don’t think this individual is legit. No call sign etc. 
I sure won’t provide the details they ask for in the email.
Beware
If the guy has a secretary and colleague to do his paperwork he sure
isn’t going to mess with an old 
Hallicrafters S-40B!
This was not the only message of this type. I received two after this
one.
