Please take a few minutes out of being pampered by your adoring family on Sunday
June 19th, Father's Day, and join us for a special HCI salute to all father's
everywhere, whether they glow in the dark or not.   	
	
The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). If you are not a father,
adopt a child for the day. What better gift than that glow of happiness in the
eyes of a child when you surprise them by letting them pay for dinner at Chunky
Chicken!  	
	
I will be on the air at 12:22 PM EDT, (1622 UTC) pleading with the propagation
entities for no solar belches, no lunar libations, no Saturnine ring toss skip
and no Martian's meddling with our Ionosphere by causing reverse polarization in
retaliation for the space junk we keep crashing on their planet! So if you are
in the mood to show up early and help, I'll be listening!   	
	
The Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC) We have a brief window into
Hawaii as of late, so we will be listening for KH6GRT between 1700-1800 UTC.
Here is hoping that Pete can get a path to play on Father's Day!  	
	
The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
thunderous din from those leather shoes with rubber heels that squeak like a dry
wheel bearing being ground into metallic dust as uncounted father's flee elderly
family members telling embarrassing stories of their childhood like falling
through the hole in the outhouse seat, trying to escape children with digital
cameras before their smile gets a Charlie Horse and looking for a place to hide
so they can quickly remove the batteries from their hearing aids before they
have to endure one more verse of "For He's A Jolly Good"! So lock yourself in
the Ham Shack and join us for some escape from the festivities before you
collapse from the sheer joy of it all!
