[Hallicrafters] Join Sunday HCI Net As Sunset Looms

Please warm up those wondrous vacuum filled repositories of things that still go
glow in the dark and then crank up the central air to keep the sweat on your
expanding forehead, your hairline could not possibly be stuck in reverse,
right?, from dripping into the D-104 and causing a sound of sizzle you may find
it difficult to blame on solar gas being passed! Get in the Ham Shack at your
best speed, at our ages any forward ambulatory motion is fast, and join us for
the Sunday June 12th Hallicrafters Collectors International 20 meter Net. 	
	
The pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). Due to the water in my
backyard being thigh high on a half asleep chugging Leviathan, I will be on the
air by portable wireless remote headset unit at 12:20 PM EDT, (1620 UTC), while
trying to navigate my 2004 five chances for a buck winning ticket for the annual
Genesee County Farm And Garden show where I became the proud owner of a historic
John Deere Model B tractor rear tire inner tube. Now serving as my emergency
Ark, since brother Noah refuses to allow me to pilot his vessel having heard
some ridiculous rumor started by local Ham buddies, former U.S. Army demolition
experts, who good-naturedly bribed some National Guard buddies with ice cold
fluids suitable for consumption prior to the annual July 4th Independence Day
parade in downtown Flint, and had a lot of monthly retirement checks wagered on
whether a totally blind man could navigate the twin V/8 powered Korean War Tank
between the Mayor's limousine and the ten ton city garbage recovery vehicle with
the broken duel rear axle and front hydraulic lift still loaded with six fifty
gallon plastic garbage cans filled with trash from Ptomaine Tina's Taco Hut, now
so ripe that the resident Rats were gagging and hurling when they got a snout
full of that scent!  	
	
Who won the strictly for fun friendly bet, the former Mayor's staff or the
military Veterans? Somewhere on the HCI web site lies the rest of that rodent's
tale!   	
	
The Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715 UTC). If the propagation stinks
like it has lately from old Sol sucking down way too many Limburger scented
layers of the upper region known as the Zonus Reekus Porta-Pottus which always
results in the Ham radio signals bouncing off the dark side of the Moon, doing a
bank shot off the asteroid called Vesta between Mars and Jupiter and then
performing a ring around Saturn and racing back to Terra Firma to do its ARRL
propagation bulletin required bounce off a Tibetan Monk's hut and coming down
with a RST of 5/9, (like every contest sig report I have ever heard!) and
finally being shot back and heard by K0EJF atop the highest point in Denver,
Colorado. A solicitor on Ham Radio peddling a syringe to make your leaking
vacuum tubes gas free with a perfect air tight seal, with a disclaimer about
sucking out all the air from inside the glass envelope and sometimes the cathode
and/or grid due to the original tensile strength of said items having lost some
oomph over the decades! Hmmm.     	
	
The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sound of my 400 CI small block Chevy driven sump pump power washing my neighbor
to the east's house for free! I hope to hear you, so join us and let's light
them up and make them final glow!
