[Hallicrafters] Hali Paint jobs

I've seen a number of references to paint colors on here over the years. I
have a number of units HT-32, HT-32B, an HT-33B, and various incarnations of
the SX101. The paint on them seems to vary widely from a high gloss black
on the cabinet front (not the panel) of the SX-101 to a relatively flat
(semi gloss?) on the 32B and 33B.

Did Hallicrafters us this wide a variation? These are all old and appear to
be original paint.
Other than the custom paint I had mixed a year or two back, I don't find
anything that matches the silver/gray of the cabinet tops.

I've been searching via Google and through the HCI archives, but really
didn't come up with anything definitive on just what colors to use.

Like a garage sale, I cleaned out my mail last week and now I'm looking for
what was discussed recently, but searches on "Hallicrafter Paint Colors" and
"painting Hallicrafters radios" have not brought up what I seek.

I tried the Krylon Semi Gloss black and although the color is about right
the finish doesn't match any of the rigs on the bench or in the racks.

Any help would be appreciated.
