Many of the units made during the 1930s and 1940s are
actually rated at 105 VAC to 125 VAC (check the
labels).  Some have various taps on the transformer
primary while others do not.  However, I have never
run into a problem even with my "normal" line voltage
which runs between 125 VAC and 127 VAC.
