[Hallicrafters] SX-101 problems

Additional observations.
When using an Icom receiver with insulated probe and  sniffing around 
(V2) 6BY6 mixer and (V12) 12AT7 2nd conv Osc, I get strong signal 
centered on 1600KC in LSB mode and 1700KC in USB mode. These tubes are 
on the sub chassis top center of the main chassis.

I set up my SX-111 on the bench for comparison and when tuned to 3700 
Mhz and placing probe near tuning cap I copy a strong signal at 5950 
Mhz.(3700+1650 I think)  that changes with dial position.
This same test on the SX-101 produces no signal at all. Also the SX-101 
has an Osc Out jack on th rear of chassis and no signal at all there.
