[Hallicrafters] WR-600 & SX-71

Hi Gang,

Anybody out there tell me how close to an S-38 series or S-120 the WR-600 is?  I have one coming to me that needs caps (of course), and have no schematic (can't find one on google, either).

SX-71:  Got a real "basket case" of one (I'm not exaggerating)... totally misaligned and modded... took the extra bandspread cap out (why did they do that?) did a realignment on it, and got it to "play", but the AVC voltage is really high, & clamping down the sensitivity... all the components appear good - new VR tube good - wonder if the 2nd. IF isn't working, as injection of 2nd. IF freq doesn't produce much, but then again, it's very low sens. anyway  (How the heck do you remove the 2nd. osc section without removing all the wires... or do you?  ... any ideas out there?
