Talcum powder works great on 32S, 75S and really great on the R-390's......
But for "set and forget" slugs you need something to hold them in place.
I think Halli used beeswax to hold slugs.
After breaking a few slugs I figured out that a hair dryer would melt the
wax and allow adjustment.....
(get under chassis, use heat and gravity to clear wax) adjust and re-seal
with ONE drop from a candle......
BTW My kids are grown, but I remember a different butt smell......
