I use my 756pro as a digital readout for my URM-25D signal generator.  Only
then do I adjust the 50kc section.  The pro goes down to 30kc. Makes a great
signal generator and frequency counter.

 Very true, I use a freq. counter on my generator
for both accuracy, and resetability.
