[Hallicrafters] RE: Antennas and static charge

I have an antique (c. 1920) neon lightning arrestor for balanced line. 
It is made of clear glass in the shape of a WWI battleship.  The lamps 
are positioned about where the fore and aft batteries would be so it 
appears to be firing broadsides when working.  Pretty clever!
