Haillcrafters S20R. 

It reading the RF alignment procedure ...

" So that most satisfactory adjustments of the trimmers and padders can be made, it is 
advisable to "Rock" the condenser across the signal being delivered by the generator until 
the particular circuit has been peaked at all frequencies except 1400 KC and 4 MC."  

"peaked at all frequencies except 1400 KC and 4 MC."  ?

Why "except" 1400 KC and 4 MC  ?
