Hi Mike;
PARTS EXPRESS www.partsexpress.com in their catalog # 91, has a 4 ohm,
10" speaker; cat # 290-274, 40-4000 cps, 125 watts, 70 oz magnet, SPL 92
dB, cost $19.95. Don't be concerned about 3.2 ohms vs 4 ohms. They are
virtually the same. Besides, the impedance changes with the frequency
anyway.
Another thought. Go to a thrift store (Salvation Army, Goodwill, St
Vincent, etc) and buy a pair of 8 ohm stereo speakers in a 30" or so
cabinet, with a 10" woofer, a mid-range and a tweeter. Mount the
mid-range coaxially with the woofer to get 4 ohms Z without wasting power
in a resistor. Sounds good too. I see them here around $25 a pair.
If you need a matching transformer, I have some that will match 500 ohms
to 4, 8, or 16 Ohms. $10 each + shipping.
