[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters front Panal Font

Hi DW,
If you find out, pse let us know. I think it's the same as on the
R-42 "Reproducer" speakers, and R-46's, maybe elsewhere. I've been
looking locally at sign & T-shirt places trying to find a reasonable way
to re-do a cupla R-42's. One place can't cut vinyl out finely enuf, but
could make a screen. Have a lead on a bigger shop that may be able to cut
the vinyl, and think that'd be an acceptable, tho' not perfect, way to do
it, particularly if the price is low. I'll try to get there this week.
If I go for a screen, I'll probably get some other lettering on it so I
can do some other things with the same screen, as it can be placed and
squeegeed selectively, shouldn't add much/any to the cost.
Anyone have any thoughts pro-con on vinyl stick-on lettering? Getting
the proper shade of light green could entail buying a whole roll of
"special" order stuff.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters front Panal Font

On many Hallicrafters receivers (SX-25, SX-111, SX-42, SX-100 etc) the
words "the hallicrafters co." is printed on the front panel in either
white or light green. Does any one know what font they used? It is similar
to Arial narrow bold, but different in some letters. Is it a font that is
available?

Thank you in advance for any help.
