Congratulations, Mike!

I like the SX-111, which carries the same basic electrical design of the
famed SX-101 series, although with a less expensive pinch drive tuning
tuning mechanism and overall cheaper general mechanical assembly. I
talk to folks who absolutly hate the 111 but love the 101, but I have
both and can't really tell any major difference when it comes to
listening and features. The 111 does tend to have more jitters due to
the bandswitch than my 101 or 101A does, but I believe my 101A has
ceramic switch wafers rather than the less expensive phenolic, or at
least in the oscillator section. Not sure about that though, and I'm
not going to pull one out of its cabinet to check right now! I do admit
the 101's are prettier to look at.

So when do you plan to pick up a HT-37 to go with it and check into the
Hallicrafters nets?
