We don't need "musicality" as much as we need R.aFfability.

Of course, it all begins at the wall socket. The catalog to which I 
referred yesterday also contains listings for a $147.00 (!) AC 
receptacle (well, it IS a duplex socket) and a matching $77.00 power 
plug).  Six feet of power cord of commensurate quality works out to 
$57.00. 

It's no wonder my SX-42 doesn't work. The electrons from my $1.79 
"contractor grade" wall socket are trying to crawl up an inferior chunk 
of zip cord from 1947 (which I'm going to chop into 6-inch "collector" 
lengths and peddle for $68.00 apiece).
