Great set of pictures.
I have a SX-42 that needs the same treatment, and have refinished the 
cabinet. Also recapped and went through 4 SX28 & 28A,s.
  Stripped and refinished the panels and cabinets. Have 2 more waiting 
in the line, plus just bought a recapped SX-28 that is salable but needs 
a little TLC to tweak it up performance wise. Have the chrome of of 6 of 
them to redo as soon as we get some trim made for A rare Bowden Space 
Lander Bicycle that we are restoring.
