[Hallicrafters] S-108 dial glass

Nice refurb job on that SX-110. Boy I can't believe how pristine the
underside of the chassis was when you purchased it. It looks like it
is brand new.

Was the temporary green dial something you printed using regular paper
and then just letting the dial light shine through it?

Anyhow, thanks for all the getting me straightened out about the
equality of the S-108 and SX-110 dial glass. It's been a while since
I pursued that and I can't remember why, but for some reason I gave up
thinking they were different. And all the time Radiodaze has the
SX-110 glass that I could have used.

But.....I STILL need that aluminum strip that runs horizontally across
the front of the panel of the S-108. Does anyone know how I can find a
replacement for my missing strip?

Hi Jim,

I'm pretty sure this topic has been covered before on the list: you
may like
to check the archives.

You could take a look at my Web page about the SX-110 refurb I did,
which has some info on the SX-110 glass ... and you may be reassured
that
it's the same as the S-108 glass. There's a picture of the RadioDaze
DG-32 glass, too.
