[Hallicrafters] HT-37 Restoration

I am in the final stages of completing an HT-37 restoration.  I have everything running well, good RF output, excellent carrier suppression and good sounding audio.  My only remaining problem is getting the unwanted sideband suppressed.  I followed the alignment procedure to the T, but I can only get the unwanted sideband suppressed about 6-10db.  Only the audio phase balance control seems to have any effect at all, adjusting the audio amp balance, RF0L and RFOC does nothing. Any words of wisdom?   Joe  W8DCQ
