Hi Will,

I have all 3 models of the HT-32 and the 6146 and 6146A will work fine in all 
of them. I have not had any experience with the W but I am sure you will hear 
from folks who have.  My understanding is that some minor circuit changes are 
required to use the 6146B. Someone sent me some mods once, but I never did 
anything to the rigs. As I recall it was a screen and bias change. This is not a 
big deal, but I personally can't see any reason to change. Besides, there 
still seems to be good availability of NOS 6146 and 6146As at reasonable prices.
